For 2025, the best way to find my yarn is by coming to one of my crafting events, following me on instagram or facebook or by joining my yarn/fiber club.
I’ll be at a few festivals on the east coast, but my schedule will be shorter than in the past. My goal is to spend more time making beautiful yarns and fibers and creating opportunities for knitting, spinning, and crafting with people face to face.
Stay tuned for the specifics! If you camp or attend music festivals in the northeast US, we may crosspaths at a campground. I’m hoping for campfires, crafting, hot cocoa, and meeting new friends!

Details and sign up for my yarn and fiber club wll be posted in April. People in the yarn/fiber club get first invites for my hosted events. Come spin and knit with me!

Spindles in the Wild & Story Spun Yarns
I’ve spent thirty years as a maker. I love experimenting with all sorts of techniques and materials. I may take things back to the basics and go from source to finish. For linen, that means growing flax, building the processing tools, processing the plants, spinning the flax into linen, and finally weaving something. For knitting, I may start with a raw fleece and go through finished object. Or- I’ll jump in somewhere along the way. It’s all about learning and using what I’ve learned to have fun and explore new ideas and techniques.
Spindles, spinning wheels, espinners, charkhas- I love using them all. Handcards, blending boards, drum carders- yes! I also love growing dye plants, wild collecting, and making natural dyes. But who could ignore commercial dyes? Love those colors- esp the magic that happens when you mix natural and synthetic dyes.
Most of all, I love spending time with the people in the making community! Our diverse life experiences and stories come together, helping us make vibrant expressions of our world.
